How to Contribute

NGIBS is proudly open-source under the MIT License. We welcome contributions from developers, researchers, and prompt engineers. Here is how you can help:

1. Code Contributions

UI/UX Improvements: Have experience with PyQt6? Help us make the interface smoother and more intuitive.
LangChain Agents: Submit pull requests to refine the recursive loops used in the "Deep Search" mode.
Scraping Modules: Build out new modules for BeautifulSoup to better parse specific high-value documentation sites.

2. Bug Reports

If you encounter a crash or a visual bug, please open an issue on GitHub. Include your OS, your installed Ollama version, the specific model you were running, and the Python traceback if applicable.

3. Share Workflows

Figured out a brilliant System Prompt that makes Llama 3 write perfect Python code? Found a way to structure CSV files so the RAG module reads them flawlessly? Share your findings in the Discord #workflows channel.
